In a Sunday statement, the EMA indicated the early morning and evening will see slightly cold temperatures, with the daytime being warm to hot across the nation.
The EMA advised citizens wear summer clothing during the daytime and recommended carrying a light jacket, especially in the early morning and late evening – particularly for children.
Monday’s weather will see intervals of heightened wind activity in in South Sinai, the Red Sea region, and southern Egypt, potentially stirring up sand and dust.
There will potentially be rain along the northeastern coast, northern Lower Egypt, and the Halayeb and Shalateen regions, with a slight chance of a light drizzle in Greater Cairo.
