Director Mohamed Diab announced his second American project, following the popular Marvel series “Moon Knight,” during his appearance on “al-Daif” (The Guest) show with Mohamed al-Desouky Rashdy, broadcast on Modern MTI channel.
“I want to create more human-interest films, like the ones I love more than superhero movies. I want to make something like ‘678’ and ‘Eshtibak’ (Clash) in America,” he explained, adding, “and that’s my next project, called ‘The Note.'”
He added that: “The project is a collaboration with Netflix, and its stars are American. Its story incorporates elements of my own life, my experience in America working on a Marvel film, and the fascination with the American Dream until you start to feel it’s not real.”
Diab is also awaiting the release of the film “Asad” (Lion), starring Mohamed Ramadan, Razan Gamal, Maged al-Kedwany, Ali Qassem, Islam Mubarak, Kamel al-Basha, Mahmoud al-Serag, and more.
