Iranian media reported on Sunday that the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) targeted US-made HIMARS missile launchers in Kuwait with drones, claiming they were ready to launch toward Iran.
The Fars News Agency said that the operation resulted in the destruction of the launchers and their associated missile storage facilities.
Some unofficial sources reported the deaths of three US officers and injuries to others, Fars News Agency said, without providing official confirmation of this information.
The agency added that the short-range US HIMARS missiles had been used in recent days, during what it called the “Ramadan War,” to target sites on Iran’s southern coast.
