The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) announced on Tuesday that the captain of a tanker near the Strait of Hormuz reported a projectile strike on the starboard side of the engine room.
The UKMTO said the incident occurred 40 nautical miles northeast of Qalhat, Oman, noting that all crew members were safe and no environmental damage was reported.
