The president of the board of directors of Turkish club Trabzonspor, Ertuğrul Doğan, on Saturday evening revealed the truth behind reports of it about signing Egyptian star Mohamed Salah during the current summer transfer window.
The French website Foot Mercato had confirmed that Trabzonspor was close to signing Salah in the current summer transfer window.
Doğan told Turkish channel Aspor, “There are many reports confirming our agreement with Mohamed Salah, but that hasn’t happened. If anything does, I will announce it to the fans and all media outlets.”
He added, “I hope to sign Salah, and I am committed to the interests of Trabzonspor.”
The Egyptian star left Liverpool FC at the end of last season after spending nine seasons with the Reds.
