Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty had a phone call on Wednesday 7/8/2024 with Iran’s Acting Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani.
The talks fall within the framework of Egypt’s contacts to contain regional escalation and encourage all parties to exercise self-restraint to avoid expansion of the conflict, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid said on X account.
