Actor Ahmed al-Sakka commented after his video supporting football star Mohamed Salah was deleted from his official Instagram and Facebook accounts, clarifying that he did not take down the video himself.
The actor wrote via his Instagram account: “Note: I did not delete the video regarding Captain Mohamed Salah addressed to Liverpool club, but I was surprised by its deletion from my Instagram and Facebook accounts, just like you were.”
“It’s clear I stepped into territory that isn’t mine. Nevertheless, all the best to the Arab stars in the English Premier League, and I specifically mention Captain Mohamed Salah—the word (coach) is what upset them.”
Sakka had previously posted a message of support for the global star Mohamed Salah amidst the recent spat with his club, Liverpool.
In a video clip he posted on his official Instagram account, Sakka praised Salah and listed his accomplishments, “Allow me to remind you: look how many championships you’ve brought to Liverpool. You truly are the Pride of the Arabs. Let your self-confidence increase, not waver.”
The actor concluded by emphasizing his great confidence in the national team’s captain: “Focus, Salah. We have great hopes pinned on you for the Africa Cup of Nations and the World Cup. We love you, Salah.
