Actress Yasmine Abdel Aziz announced that she has begun filming a new movie titled “Zawgat Ragol Mohem” (The Wife of an Unimportant Man).”
This marks her return to the big screen after a long break from the silver screen.
Aziz shared photos with actor Akram Hosny on Facebook, captioned “The Wife of an Unimportant Man.”
The film marks the first cinematic experience for screenwriter Sherif al-Leithi, the son of media personality Amr al-Leithi and grandson of the late screenwriter Mamdouh al-Leithi.
The comedian actress shared behind-the-scenes photos from the film’s set on her Instagram account, featuring her with producer Tamer Morsi and actor Akram Hosny as they celebrated the start of filming with a cake.
The film is directed by Moataz al-Tony, and produced by Tamer Morsi.
Abdel Aziz’s last cinematic work was the film “Al-Abla Tam Tam” (Miss Tam Tam), which was released in 2018 and co-starred Hamdy El Mirghany, Bayoumi Fouad, Hisham Ismail, and others.
It was written by Ayman Watar and directed by Ali Idris.
