The draw ceremony for the 2025 Club World Cup held in Miami, US for the first edition of the tournament’s new system with the participation of 32 teams has resulted in Egypt’s Al-Ahly SC being placed in Group One along with Palmeiras, Porto, and Inter Miami.
The date of the Al-Ahly match against Inter Miami in the opening of the 2025 Club World Cup is scheduled for Sunday, June 15.
The tournament system stipulates dividing the clubs into eight groups of four teams, with the teams being classified in pots to determine the four levels, with each group including a team from each level.
According to the classification announced by FIFA, Al-Ahly is in the third level.
