Cairo International Airport authorities on Monday seized half a kilogram of gold powder hidden by an Egyptian passenger inside two slaughtered and stuffed ducks.
The passenger was planning to fly to Kenya.
An X-ray machine detected dark bodies inside the Egyptian passenger’s luggage in a security check before the Nairobi-bound flight.
Airport workers found the ducks inside. A report was filed and authorities seized the items to identify their value.
