The Al-Ahly Club will provide buses to transport Ahly fans to Borg al-Arab stadium in Alexandria, to support Al-Ahly football team against al-Ismaili team, Al-Ahly club’s board of directors, headed by Mahmoud al-Khatib, announced.
Al-Ahly will face its Ismaili counterpart in the postponed eighteenth round of the Egyptian premier league, at Borg Al Arab Stadium in Alexandria, on Wednesday, at 8:30 pm Cairo time.
Al-Ahly leads the Egyptian Premier League table with 69 points, and needs only eight points in order to officially win the league title this season.
The gathering of Ahly fans will begin at 12 pm, in front of the gates of the club’s branch in Sheikh Zayed, and the buses will depart to Alexandria at 1:30 pm.
Each fan should bring the match ticket and their “fan ID” card, according to Al-Ahly management’s announcement.
Items that puts the safety of the fans and facilities at risk are prohibited, whether during travel or during the match.
Ahly opens new branch
Al-Ahly Sporting Club President Mahmoud al-Khatib revealed that the opening of the club’s branch in the Fifth Settlement will be June 1st.
He said that this branch is the fourth after al-Gezira, Nasr City, and Sheikh Zayed, branches and it will not be the last.
Khatib hailed Ahly as having great historical, national and sports value since its inception in 1907, and with the support of its members and fans it will remain number one.
