The al-Ahly Sporting Club team came out victorious over its rivals, the Pyramids, with three goals without response in the match held at Cairo Stadium in the 11th round of the Premier League championship.
Ahly’s goals were scored by Amr al-Soulia, two goals in the 19th and 69th minutes, and Ahmed Samy, the Pyramids player, added a reverse goal in favor of Ahly in the last minute of the match.
With that result, Ahly tops the chart of the Egyptian Premier League with 27 points, three points ahead of its traditional rivals, Zamalek Club, which has 24 points, while Pyramids’ balance is frozen at 20 points in fourth place
