At dawn on Tuesday, security services extensively combed a number of villages around the cities of Sheikh Zuwaid, Rafah and Arish in the North Sinai governorate following the bombing of Daqahlia Security Directorate.

A security source confirmed that the security services in North Sinai held a meeting to discuss the security situation, following Daqahlia blast where 12 were killed and 134 others were wounded.
The meeting included high-level security leaders in North Sinai, including second field army leaders, the source added.
