The headquarters of the Arab League in downtown Cairo, was attacked Thursday morning with Molotov cocktails.
An unidentified person threw a bottle at the building and when security personnel went to put out the fire, another bottle was thrown, said a security source.
The attack left no damages or injuries as the fire was immediately extinguished, the source added.
Authorities are investigating the incident and the attacker has not been identified yet.
Libyan, Yemeni and Syrian citizens in Cairo have periodically staged protests in front of its headquarters, demanding intervention to stop assaults against civilians in their home countries.
The Arab League's stance on revolutions in Arab countries has also angered many in Egypt.
