Military Spokesperson Mohamed Samir has revealed that the armed forces has seized huge amounts of explosives and ammunition in central Sinai.
“As part of the armed forces efforts in fighting terrorism, a third field army patrol seized a truck and motorbike while trying to escape an ambush in al-Barth area. Nine sacks of explosives used in the making of bombs were found in the truck, in addition to other three metal cylinders used as bombs and machinery guns,” Samir posted on Facebook on Thursday.
“The seized items were handed to the authorities in question to take necessary measures,” he added.
