Meteorologists predict another heatwave to hit Egypt in the middle of next week, on Tuesday, as temperatures decrease from last week’s spike.
On Friday, the highest temperature in the country will drop on Friday to 42C, from 43C on Thursday.
Very hot weather will prevail in Upper Egypt and South Sinai, with cooler but still hot temperatures predicted for the north coast and hot and humid weather in Cairo and the Delta.
Temperatures will grow moderate but remain humid over Cairo and the other regions at night.
Light rain is expected over Shalateen, Halayeb and Abu Simbel on Friday and Saturday, with northwest winds blowing over Cairo, South Sinai, the southernmost part of the country, and the northwest coast.
The weather will remain very hot weather in Upper Egypt and hot, humid weather in Cairo on Saturday.
