At least 54 people were killed across Gaza on Tuesday, according to local authorities, as mediators say a ceasefire-for-hostages deal is in its final stages.
At least 23 people were killed across the enclave on Tuesday night in strikes on Deir al-Balah and Al-Nuseirat in central Gaza, and Rafah in southern Gaza, according to hospital officials.
Earlier in the day, at least 31 were killed across the Strip.
CNN has reached out to the Israeli military for comment on the strikes.
