Bad weather forces flights into emergency landings at Cairo airport

Some flights due to land at Borg al-Arab Airport in Alexandria on Tuesday changed their routes due to inclement weather conditions.

An AlMasria Universal Airlines flight taking off from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia for Alexandria with 63 passengers made an emergency landing at Cairo International Airport. The airplane took off again after weather conditions improved. AlMasria airline is a private carrier.

Also, a Libyan Airlines flight taking off from Benghazi with 132 passengers was forced into an emergency landing in Cairo.
