One police recruit was killed and nine others were injured, as a result from the explosion caused by a homemade bomb in the vicinity of Dokki Police Department, said the Interior Ministry Information Center.
The explosion took place at 9:45 Friday morning, as a result from an improvised explosive device (IED).
The blast scene is currently being further investigated for more evidences.
