Alaa al-Hadidy wrote on his official Facebook page Sunday evening that the government appreciates those who did not respond to calls for civil disobedience, which he claimed disrupt production and progress. Hadidy urged citizens to cooperate with police.
Protesters blocked Haram Street in Giza and protested outside the municipality headquarters in response to a call to start a civil disobedience in the governorate, according to Al-Hayat, a private satellite channel.
