Cairo hosts Egyptian-Mauritanian presidential summit

A summit will take place on Sunday between Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and his Mauritanian counterpart Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz, currently on an official three-day visit to Egypt. Abdel Aziz arrived in Egypt on Saturday.

In a press release, presidential spokesperson Alaa Youssef said the program of Abdel Aziz’s visit includes a meeting for the two presidents at Ettihadiya Palace, followed by talks between the presidents and the two countries’ delegations. The two presidents will then sign several bilateral cooperation agreements.

“The program will also include visits to several investment and economic projects in Egypt, especially in the industries of agriculture and livestock. Additionally, there is a meeting scheduled with Egyptian businessmen, to consider how bilateral economic cooperation can be boosted,” Youssef added.
