The Central Bank has on Thursday offered a US$40 million tender to local banks in accordance with the bidding mechanism that was launched on 31 December 2012.
This was the 180th bid offered by the bank, bringing the total value of the bids to US$7.6 billion, in addition to exceptional bids of US$4.2 billion that the bank offered at critical times.
