Hundreds of Christian women from different sects in Alexandria took part in spiritual prayers on the International Day of Prayer.
Three Orthodox, Catholic and Evangelical churches took part in the prayers, which were attended by several priests and bishops.
Prayers were made for Egypt and the Arab countries witnessing turmoil like Libya, Syria and Iraq. Calls were also made against verbal and sexual assault against women.
