Cold nights ahead during last days of Coptic month Tut, EMA warns

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) expects autumn weather to prevail across all parts of the country on Wednesday, with low and medium clouds continuing to form in scattered areas of the northern coasts, accompanied by chances of light to moderate rain.

The EMA warned of weather conditions at night, which coincide with the last days of the month of Tut, the first month of the ancient Egyptian and Coptic calendars which ends on October 11.

The authority explained that temperatures are expected to tend to be cold and decrease across all parts, especially mountainous, desert and open areas, reaching 13C in Saint Catherine.
