The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) warned of the continued cold wave across Egypt, amid expectations that rain will continue to fall on the northern coasts and northern Lower Egypt intermittently.
Weather maps revealed the formation of a dense cloud cover accompanied by rainfall in various areas of the Delta, Lower Egypt, the Canal cities, and North Sinai, extending lightly to parts of Greater Cairo.
Heightened wind activity will compound the cold weather, the EMA said, adding that the cold snap is expected to continue until the end of the week.
