The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) expects cold weather on Tuesday across the country’s northern parts, and moderate temperatures in Upper Egypt.
Very cold weather is expected across the country overnight.
Low and medium level cloud cover is expected for the north.
Frost is expected to form across plantations in central Sinai and north of Upper Egypt.
Mist will affect viability in the morning along the north coast, in Lower Egypt, Cairo, and the Suez Canal cities.
Winds are anticipated to be moderate and mostly northwesterly and will be active in the Gulf of Suez and the Red Sea, possibly disrupting navigation.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will range between 1.5 and 2 meters high, while waves in the Red Sea will range between 2 and 2.5 meters with northwesterly surface winds on the Mediterranean Sea and northeasterly surface winds on the Red Sea.
Maximum temperatures predicted for the following cities are as follows: 18C in Cairo, 17C in Alexandria, 21C in Qena, 22C in Luxor, and 23C in Aswan.
