A concrete beam fell while being installed at the Kamal Amer axis in Giza on Monday, killing a worker and injuring five more according to local media reports.
Giza Governor Ahmed Rashid inspected the scene of the accident at the Lt. Gen. Kamal Amer axis in the Boulaq Al-Dakrour neighborhood.
All security and safety measures have been taken in the vicinity of the work sites, the governor said, and assured that the accident did not impact the structural safety of the axis.
Following his visit to the injured at Umm Al-Masryeen Hospital in southern Giza, the governor ordered the director of the Health Affairs Directorate to provide all necessary healthcare to the injured.
