Meteorologists predict moderately cold weather across Egypt during the day on Friday, accompanied by possible rainfall.
Temperatures will be moderately cold along the northwestern and northeastern coasts and central Sinai, with more moderate temperatures in southern Sinai, Hurghada, Upper Egypt, Halayeb and Shalaten during the day.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 18C in Cairo, 16C in Alexandria, 18C in Qena, 19C in Luxor, and 20C in Aswan.
Winds will be active along Egypt’s coasts, possibly disrupting maritime navigation, and while temperatures will be moderate during the day in southern Sinai and Hurghada, the weather is set to grow much colder at night in these areas and throughout the rest of the country.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be turbulent, ranging between 2.5 and three meters in height with north to northwestern surface winds, while waves in the Red Sea will be moderate, ranging between two and 2.5 meters in height, with northwestern surface winds.
