Meteorologists expect cold weather and possible rainfall on Tuesday along the northern coasts and in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, and central Sinai, with warm weather expected for Upper Egypt, South Sinai, and along the Red Sea mountain chain.
The weather across the country is expected to grow much colder by nightfall.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 17C in Alexandria, 18C in Cairo, 22C in Qena and Luxor, and 23C in Aswan.
Meanwhile, low- and medium-level clouds are anticipated across most of the country, accompanied by moderate rainfall in different areas of Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt.
Heavy rain is predicted along the northern coasts and in central Sinai.
Winds will be mostly northwestern and moderate in most parts of the country, and waves in the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea will be moderate, ranging between 1.5 and two meters in height, with northwestern surface winds on both seas.
