Light to moderate rain is predicted in Cairo, with moderate rainfall expected in Lower Egypt and moderate to heavy rains along the northern coast and in Central Sinai.
Meanwhile, warmer weather is predicted for South Sinai, Hurghada, Southern upper Egypt, Halayeb and Shalateen, with temperatures expected to grow much colder across the country by nightfall.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 16C in Alexandria, 17C in Cairo, 22C in Qena, 25C in Luxor and 26C in Aswan.
Winds will be active in Cairo, Lower Egypt and central Sinai, possibly disrupting maritime navigation near the northern coasts.
Strong winds may also disturb dust and sand in South Sinai, Hurghada, northern Upper Egypt, southern Upper Egypt, Halayeb and Shalateen.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be rough, ranging between 2.8 and 3.3 meters in height with southwestern surface winds, while waves in the Red Sea will be moderate to rough, ranging between 1.8 and 2.4 meters in height with northwestern surface winds.
