Egypt’s Presidential Advisor for Health and Prevention Affairs Mohamed Awad Tag-Eddin announced that the Coronavirus is now endemic worldwide, similar to influenza and other viruses.
During a phone interview with the Al-Hadath Al-Youm channel on Sunday evening, Tag-Eddin explained that the current viruses are common and the number of infected cases are small.
He confirmed that there is nothing to indicate a change in the viral map in Egypt or an increase in the spread of cases, assuring that the epidemiological situation in Egypt is stable.
Tag-Eddin explained that most of the current cases are the result of moving directly from cold air-conditioned conditions to hot conditions, adding that there are no new viruses or variants.
