The Cairo Court of Urgent Matters will issue a verdict on May 25, with regard to the lawsuit filed by Ahmed Ibrahim Suleiman, director of the Nedal Centre for Rights and Freedoms, demanding the banning of French newspapers Charlie Hebdo and Libération in Egypt, for allegedly insulting Prophet Mohamed.
Suleiman said in his lawsuit that safeguarding religious values and honoring the beliefs of the people should come before freedom of expression.
