The Egyptian Ministry of Transport on Tuesday announced it will organize daily trips in luxury buses, to transport citizens from Cairo and Alexandria to the New Alamein Festival organized by the United Media Services Company in the city of New Alamein until the end of August.
In a statement, the ministry said that these trips will begin on Thursday and aims to serve citizens and support humanitarian development activities in Egypt.
These trips will transport citizens to the exhibition areas of government agencies and companies, young producers, and students participating in the festival, as well as the public beach, the festival beach, the concert area, and all vital points inside and around New Alamein City.
Trip dates:
From Cairo to New Alamein
- First trip: At seven am from Adly Mansour interchange station, which includes the Superjet company stop, with the return time from New Alamein at eight pm.
- The second trip: At four pm, returning at two am the next day.
From Alexandria to New Alamein
- First trip: From Sidi Gaber station at eight am, returning at eight pm from New Alamein.
- Second trip: At five pm, returning at two am the next day.
The ministry also announced the launch of an internal bus line service with electric buses for internal transportation in New Alamein City, connecting areas of interest in the city and the festival.
