Alexandria Criminal Court on Monday gave the death penalty to Mahmoud Hassan Ramadan, the Brotherhood supporter who infamously threw the boys from a rooftop in Sidi Gaber, Alexandria.
The court also sentenced 18 others to life in prison, another eight to 15 years in prison, 35 people to 10 years in prison and one defendant to seven years in prison.
The court was held amid unprecedented security measures.
Clashes in Sidi Gaber followed the ouster of Morsy, whose backers were filmed live while throwing opponent protesters from rooftops, which flared public outrage.
