Death toll from Israeli airstrikes on Gaza rise to 6,546, including 2,704 children

The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced the latest death toll from Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip have risen to 6,546 on Wednesday – including 2,704 children.

The Palestinian Red Crescent on Wednesday announced that its crews distributed 16,301 parcels of aid to displaced families in shelter centers in the past 24 hours.

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees, UNRWA said that shelters in the Gaza Strip are now four times past their capacity, forcing many people to sleep out in the streets.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that the number of deaths in the West Bank from clashes with Israeli occupation forces has risen to 103 since October 7.

The Gaza Strip has been subjected to Israeli land, sea and air bombardment since Hamas and other Palestinian factions launched operation “Al-Aqsa Flood” on October 7.

The “Al-Aqsa Flood” was met with the Israeli “Iron Swords” operation, as the Israeli army launched raids on Gaza Strip, which is inhabited by more than two million Palestinians who suffer from deteriorating living conditions, as a result of an ongoing Israeli siege since 2006.
