The Netflix platform announced that Tunisian actor Dhafer L’Abidine will join the cast of the second season of ‘Finding Ola’ opposite lead actress Hend Sabry.
Both actors shared the screen together several times including ‘Vertigo’, ‘Embratoreyet Meen’ and ‘Halawet al-Donia’ in 2012, 2014, and 2017 respectively.
Netflix shared several promo photos from the show, alongside a statement saying that the new season is scheduled to be released later this year.
“Ola finds herself facing a new journey to discover herself after her business project is on the verge of collapse, which leads her to a coincidence that may change her life forever,” the statement read.
The series is directed by Hadi al-Bagouri, while Hend Sabry and Amin al-Masry took over its executive production.
It also stars Sawsan Badr, Nada Moussa, Mahmoud Al-Laithi, Aisel Ramzy, Omar Sharif, Yasmina Al-Abd, and Tariq Al-Ebiary.
The first season of the comedy-drama series, which aired in February 2022, was met with critical acclaim.
It recounts the story of Ola Abdel Sabour, a middle aged woman on a journey rediscover herself and adapt to the challenges of her new situations.
