Temperatures in Egypt are to drop down by 3C on Thursday, according a statement by the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) on Wednesday.
Meteorologists still expect very hot weather to continue on Thursday across Egypt. Milder temperatures are expected along the north coast and at night.
Today’s temperatures in Cairo are 41C, with tomorrow is expected to be 38C.
Mist will affect morning visibility in Lower Egypt, and along the north coast. Low and medium-level clouds are anticipated in the north coast accompanied by rainfall.
Winds are expected to be mostly northwesterly and moderate in strength. It will be active in western parts, South Sinai, northern Upper Egypt, Gulf of Suez, and the Red Sea possibly disrupting maritime navigation.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be low to moderate and range between 1 to 1.5 meters in height, with northwesterly surface winds. Meanwhile, waves in the Red Sea will be moderate to rough and range between 2 to 2.5 meters in height, with northwesterly surface winds.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are as follows; 38C in Cairo and 32C in Alexandria, 44C in Qena, 44C in Luxor, and 45C in Aswan.
