Egypt’s meteorologists expect the recent wave of dusty winds and bad weather to end on Monday with moderate temperatures across the country.
The maximum temperatures expected for the following cities are 22C in Alexandria, 26C in Cairo, 36C in Qena, 37C in Luxor, and 39C in Aswan.
Mild weather is expected for the northern coasts, central Sinai, Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, and northern Upper Egypt. The weather will be hotter in South Sinai and the Red Sea mountains, and very hot at southern Upper Egypt.
Temperatures will grow colder by night throughout the country, mildly cool on South Sinai, the Red Sea mountains, and southern Upper Egypt.
Winds will be northwestern and moderate on most parts, active on South Sinai and the Red Sea and disrupting maritime navigation there.
Mist is expected during the morning hours on Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, northern coasts, and central Sinai.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate and range between 1.5 and two meters, while waves in the Red Sea will be moderate to rough and range between two and 2.5 meters.
Northwestern surface winds are expected on both seas.
