Earthquake measuring 4.65 strikes west of Marsa Matrouh

The National Seismic Monitoring Network stations affiliated with the National Research Institute of Astronomy and Geophysics (NRIAG) reported an earthquake approximately 373 kilometers northwest of Marsa Matrouh on Friday.

The earthquake occurred at 5:40 pm local time, measuring a magnitude of 4.65 on the Richter scale, at latitude 34.36 north, longitude 25.50 east, and 25.58 km deep.

The NRIAG said that it had not received any reports of the earthquake being felt, nor any loss of life or property.
