Egypt braces for Thursday’s atmospheric instability and sandstorms

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority has issued a warning regarding a period of atmospheric instability expected from Friday through Tuesday.

The peak of the unsettled weather is forecast for Friday, characterized by strong winds reaching speeds of 50 to 60 km/h.

These winds are expected to trigger sandstorms and dust, potentially reducing horizontal visibility to less than 500 meters in certain areas.

While a significant rise in temperatures is anticipated nationwide, sporadic rainfall of varying intensity is also expected across the northwestern coast and the northern Delta.

Temperatures in Greater Cairo on Thursday will range between a maximum of 26C and a minimum of 17C.
