A brawl broke out between an Egyptian worker and four Israeli tourists on Friday at a hotel in the city of Taba, South Sinai, according to a report by Al-Qahera News TV channel, citing a diplomatic source.
An informed Egyptian source revealed to the Al-Qahera News TV channel the details of the incident, stating that, “A brawl occurred at a hotel in the city of Taba between an Egyptian worker and four Arab-48 (refers to Arab citizens of Israel) tourists, resulting in serious injuries to the Egyptian worker while all three tourists suffered minor wounds.
A high-ranking Egyptian source denied the accuracy of what was reported in the Israeli media about the stabbing of their citizens in Taba, according to the Extra News Channel.
The source categorically stated that there were no fatalities, clarifying that the altercation was a dispute between hotel staff and tourists.
The channel reported, citing eyewitnesses, that the brawl was caused by the tourists’ failure to pay for the services they had used, noting that there were three injuries among the Egyptian workers.
All participants in the incident were taken to the hospital for medical care. Security officials are actively investigating the matter to gather more information, according to Al-Qahera News TV Channel.
