The Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced on Tuesday that the next confrontation between Egypt and Ethiopia in the sixth and final round of the African Cup of Nations qualifiers will be on Friday, September 8, at the June 30th Stadium in Cairo.
The Egyptian national team previously decided its qualification for the 2023 African Cup of Nations, which will be held in Côte d’Ivoire early next year, after defeating Guinea in the last round, 2-1.
The Egyptian national team enters this match leading the fourth group standings with 12 points.
The Guinea national team came in the second place with nine points, and the Malawi national team was in third place with four points, the same as the Ethiopian national team.
