Egypt government offers ‘Odheya Sukuk’ for expats

The Ministry for Immigration and Affairs of Egyptians Abroad announced the provision of “Odheya Sukuk” Eid sacrificial instruments to Egyptian communities abroad.

These will be provided according to the price announced by the Ministry of Religious Endowments, with the purchase made electronically through secured means and through a bank account designated for that purpose.

This comes in coordination with the Ministry of Religious Endowments to celebrate the approaching advent of Eid al-Adha, based on the role of the Ministry of State for Immigration and Affairs of Egyptians Abroad towards aiding Egyptians abroad.

The Ministry of Religious Endowments announced that the price of the sacrifice instruments this year will range between LE 6,000 and LE 8,500, according to the type of animal sacrificed, local or imported.

The price equivalent to the value of the required instruments can be transferred through the accounts specified by the ministry, whether in US dollars or euros, to facilitate for expats wishing to purchase the sacrificial instruments.

The ministry added that all Egyptian communities abroad will be informed about what the Ministry of Religious Endowments will present this year regarding sacrificial instruments.
