Egypt will officially start its marketing for the Dabaa nuclear plant, through a global conference in Marsa Matruh next Saturday that will be the first of its kind, Electricity Ministry sources said.
The conference will showcase the Dabaa project's popular support to international parties and Russian experts who would be attending the conference, the sources added.
Minister of Electricity Mohamed Shaker and Governor of Matruh Maj. Gen. Alaa Abu Zeid will deliver speeches at the beginning of the conference, followed by a presentation on the importance of the project and its environmental safeguards.
Representatives of Russian company Rosatom, representatives from the International Atomic Energy Agency, and a number of Egyptian officials and members of Parliament will attend the conference.
