The Ministries of Tourism and Antiquities and Aviation issued a joint statement announcing the launch of a promotional campaign for Egyptian tourism during the Qatar World Cup, which will witness a large presence of all nationalities around the world.
The joint statement explained that Deputy Minister of Tourism and Antiquities for Tourism Affairs, Ghada Shalaby, and Deputy Minister of Civil Aviation, Montaser Manna, held an extensive meeting with a group of representatives of tourism and aviation companies working in the Arab market, to discuss ways of tourism benefiting Egypt during the World Cup, scheduled to be held in Qatar from November 20 to December 18, 2022.
Shalaby affirmed the ministry’s keenness on partnering with the private sector and listening to their suggestions to enhance benefiting from this important event to promote Egyptian tourism.
The tournament will witness the attendance of a large number of fans of different nationalities from some countries that do not have direct airlines to Egypt, such as Latin American countries, which is an opportunity to attract these fans to visit Egypt.
