Egyptian Minister of Culture Nevine al-Kilani has postponed the 45th Cairo International Film Festival in solidarity with Palestine, according to a statement from the Minister of Culture.
Originally scheduled for November 15-24, the date of the festival will be determined later.
The 32nd session of the Arab Music Festival, which was scheduled to start on October 20, was also postponed for the same reason.
The sixth El Gouna Film Festival was also postponed to October 27, originally scheduled to start on October 13.
The artistic community was eager to support the Palestinian people, contributing aid and prayers.
