Egypt provides Wi-fi service at third line of Cairo’s subway: minister

Egyptian Transport Minister Kamel Al-Wazir said that his ministry is providing Wi-fi services at the Third Line of Cairo’s subway

During an interview with the privately-owned Sada al-Balad channel, Wazir said that the Transport Ministry aims to restores things to better than they were after the completion of its metro station projects.

Egyptian companies derive expertise from companies working in the metro field, and learned how to dig tunnels from French companies in particular.

The Minister noted to the Kit Kat station works as an example of improving the area after the constructions.

Wazir said that the ministry is working in the first sector of the third phase of the Third Line of the metro, which is 42 km long from Adly Mansour station to Kit Kat.

“People are feeling the anxiety we cause, because the street is partially closed, and we are digging a little to divert utilities such as electric cables, water pipes, and communication cables,” he said.

“We cause disruption to a work area, because it’s the nature of the digging work, and he people gets angry with us, but we are not coming to cause damage, we cause some inconvenience temporarily until we finish the project and the station, then we will bring the place back better than it was,” Wazir said.
