Al-Wataniya Sleeping Trains company, affiliated with the Egyptian National Railways Authority (ENR), announced the prices of tickets for travel through sleeping trains, as of March 1.
The company said in a statement on Sunday that it maintains a 50 percent discount for handicapped people through the 87/86 trains.
Single cabin ticket prices
- A single cabin ticket for Egyptians on trains Nos. 86/ 87, Cairo-Aswan line and vice versa, is LE 850, and the price of a shared cabin ticket is LE 550, and the price of a children’s ticket is LE 500.
- Trains #86/ 87, Cairo-Qena line and vice versa, is LE 790, and the price of a shared cabin ticket is LE 500, and the price of a children’s ticket is LE 450.
- Trains #86/ 87, Cairo-Assiut line and vice versa is LE 685, the price of a shared cabin ticket is LE 385, and the price of a children’s ticket is LE 345.
- Trains #82/ 83/ 84/ 85/ 1086/ 1087, Cairo-Aswan line and vice versa, is LE 950, and the price of a shared cabin ticket is LE 600, and the price of a children’s ticket is LE 550.
- Trains #82/ 83/ 84/ 85/ 1086/ 1087 Cairo-Qena line and vice versa is LE 885, the price of a shared cabin ticket is LE 530, and the price of a children’s ticket is LE 480.
- Trains #82/ 83/ 84/ 85/ 1086/ 1087 on the Cairo-Assiut line and vice versa is LE 775, the price of a shared cabin ticket is LE 415, and the price of a children’s ticket is LE 345
- The price of a single cabin ticket on sleeping trains for Arab nationals on the Cairo-Aswan line and vice versa is LE 1,325, the price of a shared cabin ticket is LE 875, and the price of a children’s ticket is LE 775.
