Global Fire Power, which specializes in military affairs, published a list of the most powerful armies in the world for the year 2023.
The United States maintained the lead, then Russia and China. Several Arab countries came in advanced positions in the final list which in total included 145 countries.
The Egyptian army topped the list of Arab countries, followed by Saudi Arabia and Algeria.
Egypt is one of the 15 largest global military powers, the report said, while Saudi Arabia maintained its 22nd position in the world, while it came second in the list of Arab armies after Egypt.
Algeria ranked third in the Arab world, while it ranks 26th globally, and the Iraqi army ranked fourth in the Arab world and 45th globally, followed by the UAE army, which ranked fifth in the Arab world and 56th globally. The Moroccan army ranked sixth in the Arab world, and 61st globally.
