Egypt’s meteorologists predict hot weather on Lower Egypt, Cairo, northern Upper Egypt, and very hot weather for southern Upper Egypt on Sunday during daylight hours.
Mild weather is expected along the northern coasts, and temperatures will grow milder by night throughout the country.
Maximum temperatures expected are 29C in Alexandria, 33C in Cairo, 34C in Hurghada, 36C in Sharm el-Sheikh and in Qena, 37C in Luxor and 38C in Aswan.
Mist will affect visibility in the morning at the country’s northern parts, with low and medium-level-clouds expected there.
Winds will be northwestern and moderate. They will be active on South Sinai, the Red Sea and the Gulf of Suez, disrupting maritime navigation there.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate, ranging between 1.5 and two meters, while waves in the Red Sea will be moderate to rough and range between two and 2.5 meters.
Northwestern surface winds are expected on both seas.
